Dapeng Zhu

Dapeng is Co-Head of Primavera Venture Partners, a subsidiary of Primavera Capital Group. He is mainly focused on mid-to-early stage investment in deep tech sector. He led or played an important role in a number of tech deals, including SenseTime, Enflame Technology, and  SiEngine Technology.

Before joining Primavera, he founded and served as CEO of Yanchang Fund Management, which is a co-sponsor of KKR-Yanchang Global Energy Fund. He also served in the National Development and Reform Commission’s Department of Finance and Finance, and Goldman Sachs Group.

Dapeng holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Tsinghua University, a Master of Science in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics, and a PhD in Economics from the Research Institute of Finance of the People’s Bank of China.
